The event will also feature fun activities such as buskers, emerging artists and a children’s play zone. 

‘Neighbourhood markets have rightly become massively popular in recent years with locals looking to reclaim that sense of community, and with international visitors seeking out those gems that give them a taste of South Africa. As the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth, I am proud to support these platforms that give these up-and-coming entrepreneurs and creators the scope to re-connect with previous customers, find new fans, and boost economic opportunities,’ said Alderman Vos.

Applications for trading at the market are now open and is free of charge.
